Meet. Learn. Succeed in 30 Days or It’s Free

Remember those pizza commercials that promised delivery in 30 minutes or your pizza order was free? Let us offer you a similar deal.

NCPA promises that when you attend the 114th NCPA Annual Convention and Trade Exposition beginning in 30 days, we will deliver: 1) networking with old and new pharmacy friends from around the world; 2) more than 20 hours of top-notch pharmacy and business education; 3) and ideas that you can take back to your pharmacy to help make it more successful. That’s what we mean when we say Meet. Learn. Succeed. It isn’t just our convention theme. It is a promise to you to bring practical business and advocacy solutions with experts and content to help improve the bottom line (and a good time to boot). And we are so certain, that if you don’t benefit from the programming at the Convention, you may be eligible to request a full or partial refund of your registration fee.

But we don’t think you’ll need that refund. That’s because when asked about the benefits of the NCPA Annual Convention, previous attendees agreed that networking, learning from industry experts, and using that knowledge to sharpen patient care skills and improve pharmacy performance were the top reasons they were there. Over 70 percent of those surveyed said what they learned during the convention would “pay for the trip” when they returned to their stores.

This year’s convention will feature programs on ownership transition, diabetes, disaster response, and drug diversion. There will be a legislative, regulatory and state government affairs update from the NCPA Advocacy Center, and sessions on navigating the Medicare star ratings system, surviving pharmacy audits, and understanding the wrinkles of mandatory mail order, restricted networks, and special networks. As always, we’ll provide the latest analysis of the independent pharmacy industry with The NCPA Digest, Sponsored by Cardinal Health, as we celebrate the 80th Anniversary Edition.

We’re not resting on our laurels, however. New programming this year includes a special Long-Term Care Business Summit along with LTC-focused sessions on short-cycle dispensing, marketing, and technology, and a half-day Adherence Institute, and updates to the ever-popular Technology Seminar on track and trace, electronic prescribing, and mobile marketing.

This year, we’re also introducing daily non-CE business basics with NCPA Senior Director of Sales and Marketing Gabe Trahan (of Front End Overhaul fame), who will lead a Tuesday business breakfast discussion, identify the “fabulous five” products of the day on the tradeshow floor, and help you learn how to merchandise them back home in your pharmacies.

If you want to get even more of a head-start, you can register to attend your choice of pre-convention programming beginning on Friday on topics including 340B, front end marketing, diabetes educator training, and immunization delivery.

And don’t forget you’ll have access to the NCPA Trade Exposition, the most powerful and productive trade show in the independent pharmacy industry with over 200 companies offering attendees the best opportunity to secure the latest in products and services from a variety of vendors not available at other shows in the pharmacy industry.

The four-day event will officially begin on Saturday, October 13, with an opening night celebration and the NCPA Foundation’s Silent Auction. This year’s keynote speaker is former Congressman Joe Scarborough (R-FL), host of MSNBC’s Morning Joe. On Tuesday, October 17, the closing night entertainment headlines Mike Love, a founding member of California’s own Beach Boys who wrote many of the hits that got them into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

That is a lot to deliver 30 days from now, but we’re ready. Register now and see just how sure we are that we can help you Meet. Learn. Succeed. We think you’ll be glad you did.
