NASCAR Fans Hear About PBM Abuses

NCPA ran a public service announcement (PSA) at NASCAR’s Homestead Miami Speedway during the weekend of Nov. 15-17, and we’ve posted here and on You Tube a short video summary from the event.

Shown on a large Jumbotron outside of the racetrack before thousands of spectators, NCPA’s PSA featured clips from the “Phil MyPockets” online video series. The series satirizes and raises awareness about some controversial practices of pharmacy benefit managers (PBMs), which are paid to administer prescription drug plans.

This brief video recaps the race weekend and also includes a series of man-on-the-street interviews that captures viewers’ reactions about PBMs after they saw the video.

The Phil MyPockets videos on YouTube and at www.WhoRunsMyDrugPlan.com have garnered nearly 20,000 views to date. Please continue to help spread the word about them, such as through your social media channels (Facebook, Twitter, etc.).
